1 Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TrestleBook mobile application ("App") provided by Srisan Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Srisan Labs.

These Terms apply to all versions of the App, including any updates or new features we may introduce. Your use of additional features may be subject to supplemental terms, which are incorporated herein by reference.

2 Eligibility

To use TrestleBook, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Have a valid Apple ID and an Apple device running iOS 16.0 or later
• Not be prohibited from using the App under applicable laws

If you are using TrestleBook on behalf of a business or organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3 Subscription Plans

TrestleBook offers the following subscription tiers:

Subscription prices are displayed in the App prior to purchase and are subject to change. Current pricing is always shown in the App's subscription screen. All prices are in USD unless otherwise indicated for your region.

4 Auto-Renewal

When you subscribe to a paid plan, your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period. The renewal amount will be at the then-current subscription price.

You can manage auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings. Turning off auto-renewal does not cancel your current subscription — you will retain access until the end of the paid period.

5 Cancellation via Apple

All subscription purchases and cancellations are handled by Apple through the App Store. TrestleBook does not process payments directly and cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

To cancel your TrestleBook subscription:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
3. Find TrestleBook and tap it
4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm

Alternatively, you can manage subscriptions via the App Store app: tap your profile icon → Subscriptions → TrestleBook.

After cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Your data is retained locally on your device regardless of subscription status.

6 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. TrestleBook does not issue refunds directly. To request a refund for an App Store purchase:

• Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
• Sign in with your Apple ID
• Find your TrestleBook purchase and select "Request a Refund"

Apple typically reviews refund requests within a few days. We have no influence over Apple's refund decisions.

7 Free Tier Limits

The Free tier includes the following usage limits:

• Up to 3 organizations
• Up to 5 projects per organization
• Up to 3 pay applications per month

These limits may change over time. Current limits are always displayed within the App. We reserve the right to modify Free tier limits with reasonable notice. Existing Free tier users will be notified of material changes.

If you exceed Free tier limits, certain features will be restricted until you either remove data to fall within limits or upgrade to a paid plan.

8 User Responsibilities

You agree to use TrestleBook only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of data you enter into the App
• Backing up your data — TrestleBook's local-first storage means we cannot recover lost local data
• Complying with all applicable laws, including those governing construction contracts, lien rights, and financial records in your jurisdiction

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's infrastructure or other users' data
• Use the App for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without our express written permission
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the App

9 Data Responsibility and Backup

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. While TrestleBook stores data locally and offers iCloud backup, we are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, accidental deletion, or software issues.

We strongly recommend enabling the App's iCloud backup feature and maintaining regular device backups via iTunes or Finder. TrestleBook's local-first architecture means your data resides on your device, and we cannot recover data that has been deleted or lost at the device level.

10 AI and Automated Output Disclaimer

AI features including document scanning, construction assistant, cash flow forecasting, and voice entry are provided as assistive tools only. AI-generated suggestions, analyses, and predictions should not be relied upon as professional advice. Always verify AI outputs before acting on them.

Automated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific circumstances. TrestleBook does not provide legal, financial, tax, or professional advice through its AI features. For decisions that carry legal or financial consequences, consult a qualified professional.

11 Financial and Tax Disclaimer

TrestleBook provides tools for tracking expenses, generating reports, and estimating tax deductions. These features are not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice. Consult a qualified accountant or tax professional for financial decisions.

Financial summaries, expense categorizations, and tax estimates generated by the App are for informational and organizational purposes only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate under applicable tax law and should not be submitted to any tax authority without independent professional review.

12 Intellectual Property

TrestleBook and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, icons, and the compilation thereof — are owned by Srisan Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include:

• Any resale or commercial use of the App or its content
• Any derivative use of the App or its content
• Any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another person or entity

Your data is yours. You retain all ownership rights to the project data, documents, and content you create in TrestleBook.

13 Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the App will be accurate, reliable, or complete.

TrestleBook is a tool to help you manage construction payment documentation. It does not constitute legal advice. For legal matters related to lien rights, contracts, or payment disputes, consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

14 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Srisan Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption — arising out of or relating to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App exceed the greater of: (a) the total amounts you have paid to TrestleBook in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Srisan Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

• Your use of the App in violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Your infringement of any third-party rights
• Any content or data you submit, transmit, or make available through the App

16 Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Deleting the App from your device removes your local data and terminates your use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription amounts.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive termination.

17 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@trestlebook.app to attempt resolution in good faith. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under local consumer protection laws that these Terms cannot override.

18 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App and update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of TrestleBook after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App. You can request a copy of previous versions by contacting support.
