Does TrestleBook require an internet connection?

No. TrestleBook works 100% offline. All your data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database. You don't need an internet connection to create pay apps, track expenses, or use any core feature.

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings > Data Sync and use the iCloud Backup option. Your data is encrypted by Apple and stored in your personal iCloud account. You can also export data as CSV files for safekeeping.

How do I create a pay application?

Go to the Pay Apps tab, tap the + button, select a project, and fill in the billing period. TrestleBook automatically calculates amounts based on your Schedule of Values.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings on your device > Apple ID > Subscriptions > TrestleBook, and select Cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Is my construction data private?

Absolutely. All data stays on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or store your business data on any server. AI features run on-device — nothing is sent to the cloud.

How do I share data with my team?

Upgrade to the Team plan ($44.99/mo). You can invite up to 5 team members with role-based permissions. Go to More > Team to create invite codes.

What's the difference between Pro and Business?

Pro ($14.99/mo) gives you unlimited projects, reports, and exports. Business ($29.99/mo) adds AI-powered tools: daily briefings, cash flow forecasting, document scanning, voice entry, and compliance tracking.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open TrestleBook on your new device, go to the upgrade screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

What happens if I delete the app?

All data stored locally will be deleted. If you have an iCloud backup, you can restore your data after reinstalling. We recommend backing up before deleting.
